J.P. Morgan Private Bank opens DIFC branch for regional clients

On 2 November 2026, J.P. Morgan Private Bank announced a new branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre. According to DIFC, the branch is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority and provides a dedicated platform to serve private banking clients in the UAE and the wider region.

The bank said it had more than tripled the size of its Dubai-based private banking team over the preceding 12 months in preparation for the authorisation. The announcement did not provide an absolute headcount.

An expanded private wealth presence

J.P. Morgan has used DIFC as a regional base for corporate and investment banking for about 20 years. DIFC said the group had more recently expanded its activities with authorisation to provide asset management services through J.P. Morgan International Advisors.

For family offices reviewing banking relationships in Dubai, the branch adds a locally regulated presence of a global private bank. The announcement does not specify eligibility, fees or services for individual family offices. This development was announced by J.P. Morgan Private Bank and DIFC, not Epicon Capital Club.
